Linking Policy

Spokane MOAA Chapter Web Linking Policy (for MOAA members only)

1. Your petition/application must be approved by the majority of the Board of Directors. The petition/application must contain a statement of the purpose of the petitioner’s website and if possible, a copy of the pages of the website.

2. The petitioner must be a current member of MOAA national and if residing within the greater Spokane WA area or North Idaho, must also be a member of the Spokane MOAA Chapter

3. A monthly fee of $20 is charged to the petitioner and is paid in lump sum for one year ($240.00). Renewal will be annually on the anniversary date of the contract.

4. The web link content of the petitioner must not contain any illegal, pornographic, and/or hateful content that will comprise in any way, shape or form the integrity or reputation of the Spokane Chapter of MOAA or its website. If it is determined this requirement is not maintained, the Chapter reserves the right to discontinue the link.

5. The Spokane Chapter of MOAA is a non partisan organization. No political advertising may be done on the web page linked to from the Spokane MOAA web page.

6. Approved links are meant to provide purely a service to all the members of the Spokane Chapter of MOAA. Approval does not imply and should not be considered an official endorsement.

7. The petitioner may request to have the web link removed at any time, in writing, but the Chapter will not make refunds or pay compensation once the web-link fee has been paid.

8. If the original petition is denied, the petitioner may seek approval again the following year, but the approval process per applicant is no more than once per year.

9. The petitioner must sign a contract with the Spokane Chapter of MOAA and abide by their policy in order to be approved by the Board of Directors.
